Rules and Guidelines
- The library shall remain open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. During Exams this may be extended up to 8 PM.
- Library is a silence zone, so maintain the decorum.
- Each person coming to the library must do entry/exit in the Register kept at the entry gate.
- Bags are to be put at the property counter (do not keep any expensive stuff in it); library won't be responsible for any damage/loss.
- ID card may be asked upon for identification. It should be kept handy.
- No food and beverages are allowed inside the library.
- Group discussions, meetings are not allowed in the library.
- Books checked out from libraries should be used very carefully and returned undamaged.
- Books that are damaged will not be accepted. The prices of the book shall have to be deposited.
- Do not handle books carelessly, damage them, or spoil it underlining by pen or pencil.
- Journals or periodicals are to be used only in the library and shall not be issued.
- When library books are taken out of the stacks for consultation, they should be left on the reading tables in the library rather than being put back on the shelves.
- Students are advised not to issue Books for others on their names/account.
- The Mobile should always be on Silent Mode while in the library.
- Take Care of your belongings.
- All borrowers are supposed to obey the rules mentioned above.
- Any member who disregards the guidelines above is at risk of being restricted to access to the library.
Please remember that a book misplaced is a book lost.
